AC Load Banks, simply explained
AC load banks put a controlled electrical load on a generator, turbine or UPS so you can prove it carries its rating. Portable and trailer units travel to the test; stationary units stay wired to the generator; resistive-reactive units test at 0.8 power factor; containerized and medium-voltage units handle multi-megawatt plants.

Portable Resistive Load Bank
A wheeled cabinet of heating elements and fans that puts a real, adjustable load on a generator or UPS so you can prove it carries full power.
